The main goal of the sport w/o stereotypes project is to promote equal access and participation for women and men at all levels and in all fields of sport, and in particular, to encourage and increase the access and the participation of male and female in sport typically categorized like ‘gender based sport’, by challenging gender stereotypes and any discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.The total budget of the project is 380 000. The budget of Lapland University of Applied Sciences is 30006 euros. Tulokset Specific expected outcomes are: promoting and increasing the participation of male and female in sport typically categorized like ‘gender based sport’ to underline successful cases; to create a self-assessment online tool able to guide sport association through the improving of practical gender equality. The online tool, in particular, will redirect users – in a personalized manner based on the results of the survey – to tools, good practices and resources already existing and applied in other geographical or sectorial contexts, also with important goals of progressive networking and capacity building of the actors involved at all levels. The final targets to be reached by the outcomes of the SWoSt project are:coaches and managers working in sport clubs at all levels;young people and their families;the sport educational entities, schools and citizenship Tulosten hyödynnettävyys The project is integrated to the Bachelor of Sports education and increased pedagogical understanding will be at the disposal of students after the project ends.
