Athletic migration: Dual career and qualification in sports (AMID) –project overall objective is to support European education system to tackle the challenges of new economic and social conditions taking place in EU. The specific objective is to develop support structures for migrating athletes within EU, especially in the fields of sport that are scientifically verified to be especially challenging such as winter sports´.

Concretically the project continues the successful work implemented in Lapland Sports Academy 1-2 (ESF, later on as a permanent structure) and INTECS Network (EU Preparatory Actions 2009) and WINNER Education model projects (2013-2016, LLP) projects to the new EU sports call. The practical work of the project focuses on piloting the athletes support structures to be applicable to inclusive pedagocics in tertiary level. In practice, the project means training of students and staff in workshops and developing European cooperation in network meetings. The operative model is seen valuable as the previous projects indicate.  The project is prepared in cooperation among partnership.
