Tavoite

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the development of energy cooperation in the Barents Region. A specific objective is to promote use of heat pumps in order to increase energy savings. Before the project, there is no active and coordinated cooperation in the heat pump business or the R&D of heat pumps. Strategies on energy efficiency and saving exist, though. This project is one step towards energy saving and use of renewable energy through promoting heat pumps and sharing expert opinions, information, benefits and advantages. The project will also carry out a comparative study about the use of heat pump technology on the region.
