At Lapland University of Applied Sciences, sustainability is based on our values of trust, open-mindedness and sense of community. We operate in an ecologically, socially and economically sustainable way in continuous interaction with stakeholders and partners.

Sustainability is our choice and the way we act every day in everything we do.

The universities of applied sciences have published a joint sustainability and responsibility programme, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the UN in 2015. Lapland UAS, like other universities of applied sciences, is committed to the common goals.

Sustainable development goals according to our profile

As a multidisciplinary University of Applied Sciences, Lapland UAS promotes all Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN’s 2030 Agenda. The SDGs are integrated into one another and address ecological, social, cultural, and financial perspectives. We have selected six SDGs as the most significant themes for promoting sustainable development at Lapland UAS. The selected goals are closely linked to our strategic choices and our strategy’s focus points and expertise.
