Study support and well-being 

Taking care of your well-being supports your studies. The experience of well-being is very individual and is built from many different factors. How well you feel affects your ability to study, in other words, how well you can learn and to promote your studies. 

On this page, you will find information about student health services, university well-being services, university sports opportunities, study financing, student union and association activities, and church support for students. 

Student Well-being and Counseling Group 

At Lapland University of Applied Sciences, student well-being is promoted by a multidisciplinary Well-being and Guidance Working Group. The group consists of experts from various fields. Its aim is to develop practices that support student well-being, study ability, and academic progress. In addition, the working group seeks to identify students’ support needs and strengthen collaboration between different stakeholders.
