Log in to your email using your username, not your email address.
You can also add your email account to the email programs on workstations and smart devices, such as Outlook or Mail.
For studies, you should use the email provided by the institution.
Forwarding the institution’s email is prohibited.

Two-factor authentication protects your user account and information from unauthorized access, even if you fall victim to username and password phishing.
Two-factor authentication involves, in addition to your username and password, either answering a phone call to your phone, entering a six-digit code received via SMS, or using a smartphone app, Microsoft Authenticator. Using the authenticator is the most recommended and easiest method of authentication.
This app is available for Android devices from the Google Play Store and for iOS devices from the Apple App Store.
Your phone is therefore an important part of two-factor authentication.
