Semester and Courses

The course list and detailed course descriptions can be found from Lapland UAS Study Guide.

After opening the Study Guide scroll down to the Exchange Studies and choose the study programme with the correct semester.

After this you can see the list of the courses offered in that specific programme. Course descriptions can be found by clicking the course title. Please note that you can choose studies from one study programme only.
In addition to the study programme courses, there is also a list of Common Exchange studies which are on offer for everyone.

Please, notice that changes are possible.

IN ROVANIEMI:

• Spring 2027 Orientation days: 7 January  – 11 January | Orientation is compulsory for all students.
• Classes begin: after the orientation days, depending on the individual course choices
• Semester and classes end: 28 May 2027 at the latest (classes may end earlier depending on the courses)

IN KEMI:

• Spring 2027 Orientation days (preliminary): 7 January  – 11 January 2027 | Orientation is compulsory for all students.
• Classes begin: after the orientation days, depending on the individual course choices
• Semester and classes end: 28 May 2027 at the latest (classes may end earlier depending on the courses)

• Academic year 2026–2027:  1 August 2026 – 31 May 2027
• Autumn semester 2026:  Mid-August 2026 – Mid-December 2026
• Spring semester 2027:  January 2027 – May 2027
• Application deadline for the Autumn semester 2026 and Academic year 2026-2027:  15 May 2026
• Application deadline for the spring semester: 31 October 2026
