An applicant for a study place at Lapland University of Applied Sciences (UAS) can request, in writing, Lapland UAS to rectify a decision on student admissions within fourteen (14) days of the publication of admission results.

An applicant can request further information on admission decisions and decision rectifications from admissions services (hakijapalvelut@lapinamk.fi). The results of student admissions cannot be changed to the detriment of any admitted student as a result of a request for rectification.

A decision issued due to a request for rectification can be requested to be rectified by lodging an appeal with the Administrative Court within thirty (30) days of receiving the rectification decision.

In addition, it must indicate the personal and contact information of the person requesting the rectification. The documents required to support the request must be attached with the request for rectification. The request for rectification must be signed by the person requesting rectification. A request for rectification template is available here.

The request for rectification must be addressed to the Rector of Lapland UAS, and it must be sent by post or in electronic format to the Lapland UAS registry office:

The request for rectification must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the date on which the student was able to obtain the evaluation results and information on the application of the evaluation criteria. A response to a request for rectification must be given within fourteen (14) days after the person making the decision has received the request for rectification.
