Renewable energies and energy efficiency

Smart energy solutions and services based on renewable resources can help manage decentralised energy production and consumption and coordinate different energy systems. Increased cooperation between electrical and building technologies and smart automation also offers new opportunities. Smart grid solutions can be used to manage distributed energy production and consumption. Development will also take into account forest industry by-products and better use of wood raw material and new uses. The aim is to improve the availability of raw materials, the integrity of the supply chain and the sustainability of the logistic chain.
