Searching for studies
You can search for studies in two different ways:
=> Free word search in the search box at the top of the page.
Tip: Since a word in Finnish can appear in many different inflected forms in the online shop, use only the word stem in your search to get more search results at once (for example, not “mielenterveyden”, but “mielenterv”).
=> Filtered search using the search constraints on the left.
Tip: Under “Muut tiedot” (“Other information”), you can find search restrictions for teaching in English and online studies, among other things.
You can also combine the search methods and search with, for example, a search term and campus.

Information on studies
Click on the name of the studies in the results list to find out more about them.
At the top of the page is basic information related to enrolment and more detailed information on competence and term packages. At the bottom of the page you will find more detailed information on the implementations included in the studies and the teaching times, i.e. the timetable.
The data on implementations also contain any preliminary knowledge or skills requirements for the studies. Please note that if the studies involve several different implementations, their prerequisites may differ.

Enrolment
Click “Lisää koriin” (“Add to basket”) to start enrolment by adding the desired studies to your study basket. You can collect multiple studies in the basket at once. If there are restrictions on registration, the online shop will give further instructions.
When you go to enrol, the online shop first asks you to confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and familiarised yourself with the prerequisites for all the studies you chose.

Next, your identity will be strongly authenticated with online banking credentials. Weak authentication is also possible, but do not use it if strong authentication is an option for you. In case of weak authentication, you must visit the student services in person for identification before the start of studies. Strong authentication is a condition for the right to study. After authentication, you will proceed to fill in your personal data on the enrolment form.

After saving the data, you will see a summary of your enrolment. In the summary you can also see whether you are receiving a place to study right away or staying in queue or waiting for a later selection decision.

Payment of fees
If you received a place to study right away, you will proceed to pay for your studies immediately after the enrolment. Payment is made in the Paytrail online payment service, where you can also choose payment by instalment. For your purchases, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, which will also act as the receipt.

If you did not get a place to study right away, you do not need to pay anything yet. The fee will be paid later if you are offered and accept a place in the studies.

E-mails from the online shop for paid education
You will always receive a confirmation e-mail for enrolments if you provided a valid e-mail address during enrolment. If you do not get a message in your inbox within a few hours of enrolment, be sure to check your spam folder.
The e-mail messages sent by the system include instructions regarding starting your studies. If necessary, you can also find instructions on cancelling your studies in the message.

Monitor your e-mail particularly closely if you were in queue waiting for a cancellation or applied for studies where students were to be selected at a later date. If we can offer you a place in the studies, you only have limited time to accept the place before it is automatically transferred to the next person in the queue.

Student selection
Select the enrolment order option to immediately see in the online shop whether you got a place in your chosen studies. If the studies you selected are alrea
