Welfare station is a multidisciplinary learning and training environment of the Lapland UAS in Kemi, where students of social services, geronomist, physiotherapy and nursing students offer various services under the guidance of teachers and experts.

The starting points of the activity are the promotion of health and overall well-being, customer orientation and multi-professionalism.

For students

At Welfare Station, students do practical training in customer work, taking overall responsibility for the implementation of Welfare Station’s services.

The job description is versatile, including tasks at the reception and in customer service situations. The work also includes daily sampling, customer guidance, planning and implementation of services.
