The consortium will develop and implement a virtual study unit and an “entrepreneurship week”, where the virtual course studies will be put into practice. Students from Finland, France, Spain, and North Macedonia will participate in the studies. Sustainable entrepreneurship will be explored from the perspectives of innovation and prototyping, AI tools, and cybersecurity. – Right now, we are both developing the virtual studies and recruiting students to participate in the online studies and the entrepreneurship week. In spring 2025, the entrepreneurship week will be held in North Macedonia, and I believe it is a great opportunity for our students to create international networks and get to know another culture and environment, says project manager Eeva Helameri. Responsibility in an essential part of future professionals’ education. Sustainable development covers environmental, social, and economic aspects and is becoming an increasingly significant part of future professionals’ education. However, it requires new thinking and tools, and these are what we aim to provide to our students through this project. The European Upskilling of Students for Sustainable Entrepreneurship project is being implemented by the University of CAEN/Unicaen from France, Lapland University of Applied Sciences from Finland, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje from North Macedonia, and the University of Valladolid from Spain. The Erasmus+ program funds the project, with a total budget of 250,000 euros and an implementation period from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2026.
