Lapland University of Applied Sciences’ English-language Master’s programmes will be included in the first joint application period 2024 25.10.2023 News Published before 11/2024 Share on social media Share on Facebook Share on Facebook (opens in a new window) Share on LinkedIn Share on LinkedIn (opens in a new window) Share on X Share on X (opens in a new window) The application period for Lapland UAS’ English Master’s degree programmes will be changed to the 1st joint application period 3.-17.1.2024. Lapland UAS has two English-language Master’s degree programmes: the Master Programme in Digital Business Management (online studies) and the Master Programme in Managing Sustainability and Systems Change (multi-disciplinary studies). In previous years, applications for the programmes have been submitted during March but now both programmes will be included in the first joint application period of the year 2024, which will take place from 3 to 17 January 2024. – The change is intended to make it easier for our English-language Master’s programmes and applicants to meet each other when the application for our programmes is organised in the national joint application period, says Marika Kunnari, Manager, School of Northern Well-being and Services. Both of the English-language Master’s programmes have very international groups, with students from all over the world. A large part of the studies are multidisciplinary and students can choose some of the courses included in their degree from a wide range of electives. This ensures that the content of the studies is tailored to each student’s own learning needs. To apply for a Master’s degree, one must have completed an appropriate higher education degree or other appropriate university degree and have worked in the relevant field for at least two years after completing the degree. The relevant field is considered to be both the field for which the applicant is applying and the field for which the university degree is awarded. A Master’s degree in UAS gives the same qualification for public office as a university degree. The application is made through www.studyinfo.fi.
