The change has been discussed with the student union and language and communication teachers during the fall. The change increases the student’s responsibility, but at the same time supports the development of the student’s skills, ability to utilise modern tools, and artificial intelligence, which has been recognised as a working life skill. The use of Copilot is recommended for translation work. More information at Guidelines for utilising artificial intelligence – Lapland University of Applied Sciences The pages describe the use of artificial intelligence and reporting in a thesis (including language checking of abstracts).
