We meet regularly for our network’s Morning Coffee sessions (In Finnish). During these sessions, you’ll have the chance to discuss, exchange ideas, and hear more insights from our experts.
Whether you are an entrepreneur or professional in the tourism or rehabilitation sector, or simply interested in developing accessible and inclusive services — you are warmly welcome to join our virtual Morning Coffee events!

Welcome to a practical and inspiring series of four workshops (in Finnish) focused on accessibility from the perspectives of the tourism and rehabilitation sectors.
The workshops combine current knowledge, practical examples from Lapland, and opportunities to network with fellow entrepreneurs and experts. There is a growing demand for accessible tourism and rehabilitation services in Lapland, and we are here to help you respond to this increasing demand.
The workshops provide an excellent opportunity for tourism and rehabilitation businesses to develop the skills and expertise of their staff. Each workshop has its own registration link, which will be updated on this page.
23 September 2026: Digital Accessibility in Practice webinar (Zoom)
In this webinar, you will learn how to make your online content clearer and more accessible for all users, including your customers, while improving equal access to digital services and channels. The practical workshop covers topics such as ALT texts and image accessibility, colour contrast and content structure, accessibility testing tools, and the use of artificial intelligence to support accessibility work. You are welcome to use your own materials during the workshop.
The programme includes short theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. The trainer is Outi Kähkönen from Lapland University of Applied Sciences. No special technical expertise is required. All you need is an interest in making your digital services more accessible.

Apply for a Service Pilot and Help Shape the Future of Accessible Tourism in Lapland
We are inviting tourism and rehabilitation sector businesses, development organisations, associations, and other stakeholders to participate in service pilots that test new types of services and partnerships within the field of accessible tourism.
A service pilot is a low-threshold opportunity to boldly test new ideas, build partnerships, and identify the business potential of accessible tourism. Whenever possible, the pilots will be documented and shared with industry stakeholders as examples of good practice.
Service pilots will be implemented by groups of 2-5 organisations. Participants may include businesses, associations, public sector organisations, or other relevant actors. The aim is to create cross-sector collaboration, develop new partnership models, and design innovative and accessible experiences for accessible tourism customer groups.
All service pilots must be completed by December 2026.
A total of 2-4 service pilots will be selected. The Yhdenvertainen ja esteetön Lappi (Equal and Accessible Lapland) project will support the selected pilots in a variety of ways, such as helping to establish testing groups, identify partners, and plan pilot activities. The project team will also assist with coordination and provide support throughout the implementation and evaluation of the service pilot.

Please submit your application by 30 September 2026 and attach a description of your proposed service pilot. You can download the required attachment template from this link. Please download the file to your own computer before completing it. You may also include additional files to support the understanding of your proposed pilot.
Participation in the service pilots is considered de minimis–eligible development work for companies. The total de minimis support allocated for each service pilot is €1,804, and this amount is shared among the actors participating in that pilot. For example, if a pilot is carried out by two actors, the de minimis support amounts to €902 per company. The de minimis support is not a monetary payment to the participating company (no money changes hands); the benefit comes in the form of expert services provided through the project.
