Events and Activities for Businesses

The primary target groups of the project are businesses in the tourism and rehabilitation sectors. On this page, you will find activities and actions specifically designed from the target group. Let’s work together to promote accessibility and equality in Lapland.

We meet regularly for our network’s Morning Coffee sessions (In Finnish). During these sessions, you’ll have the chance to discuss, exchange ideas, and hear more insights from our experts.

Whether you are an entrepreneur or professional in the tourism or rehabilitation sector, or simply interested in developing accessible and inclusive services — you are warmly welcome to join our virtual Morning Coffee events!

All materials from the sessions will be shared on the project’s website.

Do you want to reach new customers and develop your services to be smoother and more accessible for all visitors? There is a growing need in Lapland for accessible tourism and rehabilitation services — and we are here to help you meet that demand (In Finnish)!

The project will offer four workshops based on the skills needs identified by local companies and stakeholders. These workshops are an excellent opportunity to strengthen your team’s expertise in tourism and rehabilitation businesses.
Each workshop day includes lunch and coffee for participants. Separate registration links will be published on this page.

Apply to join our service pilots – help shape the future of accessible services in Lapland.

We are looking for tourism and rehabilitation companies, development organisations, associations, and NGOs to participate in service pilots that test new types of services and partnerships related to accessible services.

A service pilot is a low‑threshold opportunity to boldly experiment with new ideas, discover new partners, and identify the business potential of accessibility. When possible, the pilots will be documented, and the resulting good practices will be shared with actors in the field.

The service pilots will be carried out in groups of 2–5 actors. An actor may be a company, an association, a public organisation, or another relevant entity. The aim of the pilots is to cross sectoral boundaries, create new models of collaboration, and develop innovative and accessible experiences for customer groups in accessible services. The service pilots must take place between June 2026 and November 2026 A total of 2–4 service pilots will be selected for implementation. The Equal and Accessible Lapland project will support the selected pilots in various ways, such as helping to assemble test groups, find collaboration partners, and plan the pilot. The project team will also assist with coordination and provide support throughout the implementation and evaluation of the pilot. The pilots can be in Finnish or in English.

Application period: 11 August– 30 April 2026

Participation in the service pilots is considered de minimis–eligible development work for companies. The total de minimis support allocated for each service pilot is €1,804, and this amount is shared among the actors participating in that pilot. For example, if a pilot is carried out by two actors, the de minimis support amounts to €902 per company. The de minimis support is not a monetary payment to the participating company (no money changes hands); the benefit comes in the form of expert services provided through the project. Apply now and help build more accessible and memorable experiences for all visitors! Please complete the application form by 11 August 2026 and include a description of your planned service pilot. You can download the required attachment form via the link provided. NOTE: Remember to download the file to your own computer before filling it in.
