Pienillä teoilla kohti merkityksellisiä kokemuksia – Lapin esteettömän matkailun nykytilaselvitys (2026) has been published.
Through this current state report (in Finnish), we aim to provide up-to-date information for tourism and rehabilitation sector professionals, helping to build sufficient knowledge and understanding of the current state of accessible tourism and its business opportunities.
The report examines accessibility from the perspectives of four groups: people with mobility impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and neurodivergent individuals. It explores how physical, social, and communication accessibility can be better considered to create more inclusive tourism experiences.
The report serves as a comprehensive knowledge base on accessible tourism development and research, with a particular focus on Finland.
