STid Mobile ID – campus access in Kemi and Tornio

STid Mobile ID logo

Students at Lapland UAS’s Kemi–Tornio campuses can use facilities such as the library and various learning environments outside regular opening hours. For this, students can activate STid Mobile ID, a virtual access card that can be downloaded to a smartphone (Luc Access Keycard).

The system is also used by staff. Staff IDs are automatically issued upon the supervisor’s request.

1. STid Mobile ID – Activation

Download the application

  1. Download the STid Mobile ID – application from App Store or Google Play.
  2. The app initially shows one green sample card. After activation, your Luc Access Keycard with your name will appear.

Order the activation link via Tuudo-mobile application

  • Only students who are currently enrolled can order a STid ID through Tuudo.
  • The sender will appear as: stidmobile-id@stid.com
  • Check your spam folder if the email does not appear, and search by sender if needed.
  • Save the PIN code from the message—you will need it to log in.
  • The activation link is one-time use and valid for 1 month!

Installation requirements

  • Your phone must have the Outlook email app installed (activation via browser will not work).
  • A phone lock method must be enabled (PIN, fingerprint, face recognition).
  • The app can only be installed on one phone at a time.
  • Ensure the app is compatible with your phone model. If installation fails, contact support at stid@lapinamk.fi for guidance at Kemi or Tornio info desks.
