Tuudo works in collaboration with your educational institution to provide all the essential services you need for your studies, in one place with a single login. Download the app and sign in with your institution’s credentials, and you’ll have Tuudo at your fingertips whenever you need it.
New student

1. Download Tuudo from the app store
2. Open the app and select Lapland University of applied sciences from the list.
3. Log in with the credentials provided by Lapland UAS
What can you find from TUUDO?
From Tuudo sidebar you can find following things:
Electronic meal subsidy card
The meal subsidy card entitles you to a student-priced lunch subsidized by Kela, but not to other traditional student discounts or benefits. The meal subsidy card for open university students entitles you to a subsidized student lunch (not Kela).
How to activate your meal subsidy card:
1. Sign in Tuudo by selecting Lapland University of Applied Sciences from the institution menu. Log in with your university ID
2. Click on the card wallet icon in the top right corner of the Tuudo side menu.
3. Follow the instructions in the card view.
4. Notice! Upload a recognizable picture of yourself to the card. You can only change the picture once per semester.
Study Services
Through Tuudo, students can easily register for courses and exams, keep track of their completed studies, and check their grades.
Schedule
Students can find their personal timetable in Tuudo. They can also add their own notes and events to it.
Reservations
Students can reserve small group rooms available on campus through Tuudo.
Communication
Tuudo is an effective communication channel for educational institutions. Publish news, share announcements, and send notifications directly to students.
Career paths
Through the service provided by Tuudo, students can see the national vacancies and internships as well as those offered by Lapland University of Applied Sciences’ partners, whereby the notifications entered in the organisation-specific work and internship module are only visible to our own students.
Jobiili, which is used in the welfare sector, will continue to be used alongside TUUDO. Theses and student projects are also available in TUUDO. You can also find international job and internship opportunities on TUUDO.

Wellbeing
Information on student wellbeing services and current events, such as the services of Nyyti ry, can be found in the wellbeing section.
Safety
In the Safety section you will find safety-related information, such as the emergency plan, the safety pages of Lapland University of Applied Sciences and notification forms.
Library
With the library section, you can access library services. More information can be found on the Lapland University Library website: https://luc.finna.fi/Content/tuudo-kirjastossa
Campus map
Maps of the university campuses for all floors. Also includes key location information.
Restaurants
Tuudo always shows what’s on the menu in student restaurants, including detailed allergen information.
Public transport
Public transport data is provided in TUUDO based on the Google transit service.
People and services
You can find the contact details of the most important student services offered by your university on TUUDO.
Settings
In the settings, you can change the language of the app if you wish. TUUDO offers a certain number of language versions and if no language is specified, TUUDO will automatically use the language of your phone. If TUUDO does not support this language, e.g. Chinese, it will automatically switch to English. It is also possible to log out from TUUDO in this section. You can also customise how Tuudo shows you information in certain sections.
